Born in Hong Kong in 1989, grew up in Thailand and Australia. After working as a model, started her own vintage menswear-inspired ladies brand, W’MENSWEAR, in 2015 under the guidance of legendary designer Nigel Cabourn.
Thanks to a deep familiarity with outdoor gear, military apparel, and vintage clothes, Lauren is a rare dresser who manages to inspire both men and women around the world. She grew up using this wardrobe as a functional part of her outdoor life, and now her creativity draws on an encyclopedic knowledge of the past. As a lifelong surfer and camper, Lauren is able to always maintain an authentic connection to her clothes, even when they get extremely colorful and expressive. Every outfit doesn’t just provide aesthetic delights but communicates her life up until this point.
