Tokyo Wednesday Club introduces new quintessential daily shirts.

As a creative studio, standards remain unwavering. Every piece features Japanese-sourced fabrics and buttons, carefully tailored by the hands of artisans in Tokyo. While the timeless silhouette is preserved, the textiles have received a thoughtful update for both everyday wear and travel. This collection welcomes a soft broadcloth engineered to develop a beautiful, characterful patina over time, alongside a crisp, 100% organic cotton seersucker designed for maximum breathability. Both fabrics are woven in Japan’s historic textile districts.

To mark the launch, the lookbook was shot by a local creative and friend in Brooklyn, New York, capturing a single day in the city to highlight how seamlessly the garments adapt to urban rituals. The inspiration for the location came from a sharp observation during last year’s Manhattan pop-up, which drew an incredible presence of our community from Brooklyn and Queens. Seeking a meaningful way to engage with these locals, Tokyo Wednesday Club found a perfect partner in Ace Hotel Brooklyn—a neighborhood cornerstone.

For the founder, the connection runs deep. Having first discovered the boutique hotel brand via POPEYE magazine’s Portland issue, staying at Ace properties—from Kyoto to Palm Springs—has become an essential travel ritual. Hosting an event at Ace Hotel Brooklyn represents a full-circle moment.

Visitors to the space can expect a warm welcome, custom-designed stickers as a small token of appreciation, and a firsthand look at contemporary, Made-in-Tokyo craftsmanship.

Following the New York launch, Tokyo Wednesday Club returns home next month with a dedicated Tokyo event. Full details and dates will be announced shortly via the official Instagram.
